TOP 7 TIPS FOR YOUR STAY AT ATELIER
Are you visiting Atelier Playa Mujeres soon?
Here are the top 7 tips you need to know to make your trip the best it can be!
1 - DO NOT accept any invitation for a timeshare presentation. They will promise you the moon and offer free massages or excursions, but it’s not worth it! It requires a 90-minute presentation that includes breakfast with a timeshare presenter who will also take you on a tour of the resort. Breakfast is already included in your package. A “free” breakfast with a stranger is not how you want to spend your vacation time. It’s a hard hard sell and a very uncomfortable (and potentially expensive) transaction so steer clear! Even if you know you’re confident you will not buy, it’s definitely not worth your time!
2 - Download the resort app. You cannot access it until you’re on property but they will give you instructions at check-in and it’s great to find out what activities are going on at the resort, order room service, message with concierges, etc.
3 - Dinner reservations. This is a brand new, genius process that Atelier has come up with. There are iPads/kiosks situated around the resort where you can access available dinner reservations for up to 72 hours in advance so as soon as you get settled in, go find one and make reservations for the first three nights to make sure you are able to eat where you want and when you want! This is such an easy and awesome process!
4 - Check out the daily activities schedule on day one and book everything you want to do in advance on the app. They offer tequila tasting, hat workshops, cocktail lessons, flower art, etc. Don’t miss out because things do fill up quickly!
5 - Try different drinks at the bars. Some of our favorites are Pink Panther, Electric Lemonade, Purple Duck, and Red Velvet!
6 - Your transfer driver should give you a slip with your return pick-up time when you’re dropped off at the resort. Make sure to reconfirm 48 hours in advance so you know what time you have to be packed, checked out, and waiting in the lobby for pick up back to the airport. If you need assistance with this, please ask the concierge (left of lobby) to contact your transfer company to reconfirm.
7 - There is a tour desk next to the concierge desk in the lobby at the hotel. They can assist with any excursions that you’d like to book during your stay if you don’t pre-book in advance. Definitely ask them about a day trip to Isla Mujeres where you can rent golf carts to explore and be sure to visit North Beach while there!
